Introducing Program Transitions: Move Your Reciprocal Deposit Program to NBID
One guided workflow to move your reciprocal book to the bank-owned network

Community and regional banks that join NBID often have reciprocal programs with legacy providers. Program Transitions makes the move to the bank-owned network streamlined for your team and depositors, with guided steps, automated workflows, and full visibility into every account.
Why Banks Use Program Transitions
Program Transitions turns moving a reciprocal program into a simple, guided process, so you benefit from NBID’s bank-owned model quicker. It takes the legwork out of the three parts of a transition that usually take the most effort: collecting depositor signatures, opening accounts, and tracking progress.
- One place to see everything. Know where every account stands at every stage in the process, without manual tracking.
- Step-by-step guidance. Your team always knows what comes next, from setup through the final funded account.
- Automation built in. Features like Click to Accept make collecting executed terms and conditions seamless for depositors and your team.
How Program Transitions Works
There are two parts: a one-time setup, then three guided steps for each group of accounts.
Part 1: Set Up Once

- 1Upload your existing data. NBID organizes all of these account opportunities into one clear view, set up so your transition can be planned step by step.
- 2Group accounts into waves. NBID automatically sorts your account opportunities into groups called waves, so your transition is organized. You can manually adjust these at any time.
- 3Set your terms and conditions. NBID pre-fills your institution’s terms and conditions for every depositor, so each account is ready for review and signature.
Part 2: Sign, Open, Fund

Every wave follows the same three steps, so your team follows one repeatable process.
- 1Sign T&Cs. With Click to Accept, NBID sends each of your depositors a secure, bank-branded link to review and accept their new terms and conditions online. Reminders, tracking, signed copies, and receipts are all handled by NBID.
- 2Open accounts. Signed accounts flow directly into bulk account opening, and NBID helps facilitate opening them in batches.
- 3Fund accounts. Accounts are funded, and your Transition Summary shows each wave's progress.

NBID LLC is not a bank. Deposit insurance covers the failure of insured institutions, not NBID. Deposits are placed at FDIC-insured network institutions and are eligible for pass-through insurance up to $250,000 per institution. Certain conditions must be satisfied for “pass-through” FDIC deposit insurance coverage to apply. A list of participating banks appears at https://www.nbid.com/bank-list. Projected savings shown are estimates based on balances uploaded.
